Anti-Sanctuary City Movement is Gaining Traction

Just days after Los Alamitos made major news by voting to opt out of California's Sanctuary City Laws, two Orange County supervisors plan to follow in their footsteps and take it even further by filing a lawsuit against the state.

Los Alamitos Mayor Troy Edgar has set up a GoFundMe page hoping to raise $100,000 to help the city pay legal expenses to defend themselves from lawsuits brought by pro-immigration and civil rights groups.

“We’re getting an outpouring of support from across the country and the nation. People are offering to help with legal costs for little Los Alamitos,” said Edgar.
