CA Teen Arrested for Threat with AR-15 LEGO Gun

Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy who they say posted an online threat against a San Diego high school.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department says the boy, who is a freshman at West Hills High School, allegedly posted an Instagram photo of the toy with the warning:

“Don’t come to school tomorrow.”

The SDCSD says the arrest came once they became aware of the post and learned he had access to hunting rifles.

"The investigation is ongoing to determine if this student has access to other weapons. He was booked into Juvenile Hall on a felony charge of making a criminal threat."
