A Santa Ana police dog who lost his teeth took down a parolee during a chase received jaw surgery.
Puskas, an 8-year-old Dutch shepherd, lost all of his upper and lower teeth chasing Antonio Padilla Jr. into an industrial complex in Irvine.
Santa Ana Police Department Handler Officer Luis Galeana says Puskas is getting lots of love and has been a champ throughout the entire ordeal.
The K-9 is expected to be back on the job within the next few weeks and the VCA Yorba Regional Animal Hospital is accepting donations, presents and gifts for Puskas.
