Jennifer Lawrence Dropped out at 14

Role model and Oscar winner, Jennifer Lawrence, shocked the public when she appeared on "60 Minutes" and admitted she had not graduated high school.

In fact, Lawrence, actually dropped out of middle school at the age of 14. The "Silver Linings" actress said that she never felt smart enough and wanted to forge her own path.

“I struggled through school. I never felt very smart. And when I’m reading the script and I feel like I know exactly what it would look like if somebody felt that way, that was a whole part of my brain that I didn’t even know existed, something I could be confident in, and I didn’t want to let it go,” she said.

Lawrence is known for her activism with feminism and gender equality. She has appeared in Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2013 and supports various charitable organizations. When asked if she regrets dropping out at such a young age, Lawrence said she has no remorse.
