McDonald's is determined to move into a more healthy direction with their menu. The popular fast food chain has decided to now exclude cheeseburgers from their Happy Meals. By June, all restaurants in the United States plans to serve their Happy Meals 600 calories less than it is today.
The American Heart Association acknowledges that 40% of young children are eating fast food everyday. The association encourages this healthy move by McDonald's and urges all fast food organization to move in the same direction.
Mcdonald's also plans to include more fruits and veggies as well as serve bottled water with all Happy Meals.
