A Yuba City High School PE teacher is out of job after student allegations of physical abuse and sexual assault. The school district voted last night to fire Jim Whiteaker after hearing heated testimony from those both for and against the firing.
The board also took some heat for allegedly ignoring prior claims levied against Whiteaker, some dating back a number of years. It's not clear if he will face any criminal charges.
