The FBI has released security photos of the "Bladed Bandit"; a man who has robbed several Southern California banks.
FBI public affairs specialist Laura Eimiller says the name comes from the choice of weapons the man carries during his thefts.
"During the robberies, the suspect brandishes either a gun or knife and aggressively demands cash.
He threatens to hurt victims if they don't comply with demands."
The suspect is described as 5'6 - 5'9, white with light colored hair and eyes.
The FBI also suspects he has an accomplice to the burglaries, another man only described as being white and in his 20s.
