No! No! No! The Gronk Says Stop Eating Tide Pods

It wasn't long ago when Proctor & Gamble had an ad campaign warning parents to keep the Tide Pods, Gain Flings and Ariel Pods (that contain highly concentrated soap), but resemble colorful candy out of the mouths and hands of toddlers.  Some kids think they are Gummy Bears, even the container looks like a candy jar.  An estimated 2.2 million calls to U.S. Poison Control Centers annually, about 10,570 last year were related to kids 5 or younger being exposed to the ingredients of laundry packets.

Now P & G is battling the latest dangerous trend "Tide Pods Challenge." The challenge is about making a video of you biting into the Tide Pod detergent packets, despite the dangers of swallowing harmful ingredients.

P & G has been flooding social media with advisories and a commercial featuring Rob Gronkowski, a popular NFL player known as "Gronk" tight end for the New England Patriots.

This campaign is aimed at teenagers who might be tempted to engaged in the dangerous stunt popularly known as the “Tide Pods Challenge.”
