Travel Ban to Go Before U.S. Supreme Court

The legal battle over the Trump administration's travel ban is going to go before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The high court announced today that it would take up the case of "Trump v. Hawaii."

The case touches on whether the President has the legal authority to suspend immigration from certain mainly Muslim countries.

It also deals with whether that amounts to a violation of the separation of church and state.

The case will be heard sometime in the court's upcoming session, which begins in April.

A ruling could come by the end of June.
