A professor at San Diego State University is out of the classroom for some reportedly racists remarks. A student claims Oscar Monge made her feel uncomfortable for being white. A recent state investigation says the Native American Studies professor made disparaging comments towards the student and will not be teaching any classes this semester.
In Facebook messages Monge called the student several racist terms including a white savior, a term which refers to a white person who helps minorities to mask their own racism. It's unclear if Monge will teach next semester.
