After Her Speech, People Want Oprah for President

Oprah Winfrey accepted her Cecil B. DeMille award during the Golden Globes last night and with it she gave a very rousing, and some say presidential, speech.

Her words touched on everything from the #MeToo movement, the need for diversity, her love of the press and supporting the victims of sexual harassment.

“For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared speak their truth to the power of those men…but their time is up.

I want all the girls watching to know: A new day is on the horizon. When that new day finally dawns, it will be because of the magnificent women and many of them are in this room tonight.”

Viewers at home immediately took to social media to support a potential presidential campaign for the media mogul.
