A pink ribbon breast cancer license plate is now available for California drivers. Motorists can purchase standard plates for $50 while personalized plates will cost $103. Renewal rates are expected to be between $40 and $83.
Motorcycle license plates are also available at the same price. A portion of the fees collected will be donated to the California Department of Health Care Services' Every Woman Counts program. That program provides mammograms, diagnostic services and breast cancer education and awareness services to the state's underserved women.
