Lawmaker Takes Leave Of Absence Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

California State Senator Tony Mendoza says he's taking a one-month paid leave of absence due to allegations of sexual misconduct.  Mendoza says he will not resign following the claims of inappropriate behavior levied by three former female interns.

Reports say the Los Angeles-area Senator agreed to temporarily step aside after a nearly four-hour meeting with his Democratic colleagues.
