Trump Defends Roy Moore Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

President Trump has finally spoken out about the sexual misconduct allegations against Senate candidate Roy Moore.

He cited Moore's denials of the allegations in which he has been accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl and sexually assaulting another teen.

“He totally denies it.”

Trump says he was happy that women in the US are now coming forward with sexual misconduct against lawmakers and media figures...many of them being Democrats.

When asked by a reporter about whether electing a "child molester" was better than electing a Democrat, it was then Trump responded by insisting Moore denied the claims.

"Look, he denies it. If you look at what is really going on, if you look at all the things that have happened over the last 48 hours. He totally denies it. He says it didn't happen. And you know you have to look at him also. He says, 40 years ago, this did not happen."

Reporters also asked if Trump would campaign for Moore for the December 12 special election, Trump hemmed and hawed.

"I'll be letting you know next week. But I can tell you, you don't need somebody who's soft on crime like (Democratic nominee Doug Jones)."
