No verdict in Steinle trial, jurors sent home for holiday

Jurors in the Kate Steinle killing trial have been sent home for the Thanksgiving Holiday break.  

No verdict was reached on Wednesday, and deliberations will continue on Monday morning.

After 12 days of testimony, jurors were given the case on Tuesday to determine whether Steinle’s death was the result of an act of murder or a tragic accident. They deliberated for a few hours before leaving for the day without a verdict.
