Thousands of folks are expected at Los Angeles International Airport today to fly out of town for Thanksgiving. LAX officials say around 230,000 people will pass through the airport on their way to visit family and friends.
Airport officials are also warning people that the bad traffic, long lines and massive crowds will be the same on Sunday and Monday when people fly back home. The number of folks traveling out of LAX is up about three percent from last year, and experts say consumer confidence is high and that's leading to more people traveling.
