Deadpool 2 Teaser Trailer Spoofs Bob Ross -- Fuels Big Laughs

Ryan Reynolds’ superhero Deadpool broke the fourth wall on Wednesday by releasing a new teaser trailer that took the Internet by storm for the upcoming sequel.

This is our first shot to see what writers are cooking up for the next movie, but fans weren’t given much information on the actual storyline. The teaser mostly consists of Reynold dressed as Deadpool, dressed as famous painter Bob Ross.

Deadpool is suited up with a Bob Ross styled afro and is seen painting away on a canvas while talking mindlessly for most of the teaser about various drugs.

As for clips from the actual film, we’re given small glimpses of a number of returning characters: Deadpool’s love interest, Vanessa (Morena Baccarin); his bartender buddy, Weasel (T.J. Miller); his roommate, Blind Al (Leslie Uggams); and fiesty X-Man in training Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand).

The currently untitled film will also star Jack Kesy as an unidentified villain, though it’s rumored he’ll play Black Tom Cassidy, according to ComicBook/Marvel.

The release of the teaser was followed by a social media post from Deadpool’s creator, Robert Liefeld, celebrating the release of the marketing push.

The sequel will hit the big screen on June 1st, 2018.
