Bulldogs Rescued from Illegal Breeding Op Need Homes

Almost 80 bulldogs have been put up for adoption after being rescued from an illegal breeding operation.

Animal control seized 78 English and French bulldogs after receiving a complaint about dogs fighting in a nearby residence.

The animals were determined to need some serious medical attention and were placed at the Westminster Adoption Group and Services for treatment.

The dogs were 5-10 months old and had ear, eye and skin infections as well as deformities due to inbreeding and over-breeding.

The adoption group is now accepting adoption applications for the pups but warn they will need major veterinary care.
