DNC, Clinton helped pay for dossier about Trump and Russia

The Washington Post has reported that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) helped pay for research that resulted in the infamous dossier full of allegations about President Trump and his ties to Russia.

Marc Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, got Fusion GPS, a Washington, D.C., firm, to do the research.

Fusion GPS then hired Christopher Steele, a former British Intelligence Officer with ties to the FBI and United States intelligence, to to write the dossier.

Buzzfeed published the dossier in January and it blew up. Not just because of the typical Trump-working-with-Russia allegations, but it was also contained some pretty salacious allegations about Trump, sex acts, and a hotel room in Moscow.

The Washington Post says that the FBI has confirmed some of the information in the dossier, but other details have not been verified and might never be.

The DNC was up to a lot of bad stuff, they were willing to do anything to get Hillary to win. They were so smug and sure of themselves.
