Dip in Tourism After Las Vegas Shooting

Las Vegas GETTY

Tourism is expected to fall in the coming months following the brutal October 1st shooting from the Mandalay Bay Casino in the crowd of concert goers below.

Stock prices have also dropped for all Las Vegas companies and it's predicted that their prices will be affected for the next 4-6 months.

The most noticeable changes to Las Vegas will be the visual presence of beefed up security. Immediately following the shooting, security was amped up including more police patrolling the strip, vehicle checks, and the use of hand held metal detectors.
