Tropical Storm Nate Turns Deadly As It Eyes U.S.

Hurricane hunter aircraft are checking out Tropical Storm Nate.  The latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center shows Nate continues to move across the northwestern Caribbean Sea at 14 miles an hour with top winds of 45 miles an hour. 

 It will move into the southern Gulf of Mexico Friday night and approach the northern Gulf coast Saturday evening.  The current forecast track shows Nate making landfall early Sunday morning as a hurricane somewhere from Louisiana east to the western Florida Panhandle.
