When Barney Fife is your father

“When my father, Don Knotts, passed away in February 2006, I wanted to pay tribute to him in the way I knew him best: as an amazing, loving dad. It’s true that Don Knotts was one of the greatest and most beloved Awards to his credit! However, in my one-woman show TIED UP IN KNOTTS!, I try to capture the essense of Don, the man, because I always thought he was the funniest when he was just being himself.”

- Karen Knotts

Comedian and daughter of Hollywood legend Don Knotts has a new one-woman show called Tied Up in Knotts! which will be on for one-night only at Vitello's Restaurant in Studio City, CA.

Knotts will go into detail about her childhood growing up on the set of the Andy Griffith Show, and the creation of some of her father's greatest on-screen personas.  She also talks about her own efforts in making it in Hollywood while living "in the shadow" of her famous father.
