Prototypes for President Trump's border wall are being built in San Diego. Construction started Tuesday on four concrete prototypes and four other prototypes using unspecified alternate materials. Each structure will be between 18 and 30 feet tall, and demonstrate a proposed design that will stop people from coming into the United States illegally.
County officials approved an urgency ordinance banning items that could be used as weapons such as baseball bats, knives and rocks in areas where the border wall prototypes are being built. Anyone with a weapon found nearby could be fined up to a $1,000.
