USMC's First Female Infantry Officer Graduates Tomorrow

(Quantico, VA)  --  After completing her final three weeks of combat training at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, California the Marine Corps' first-ever female infantry officer is set to graduate tomorrow in Quantico, Virginia.  

The "Washington Post" reports the Marines are not revealing much about the unidentified lieutenant, other than that she is not likely to agree to news media interviews.  She is expected to lead a platoon of some 40 infantry Marines.  Twentynine Palms is about 50 miles northeast of Palm Springs.
