A pizza joint in the South Bay is trying to recover after a PR nightmare involving Torrance police. Two executives of the Pieology pizza chain brought over a dozen pizzas to the Torrance Police Headquarters. The move was to apologize for an employee's profane message that she typed onto a policeman's receipt last week.
The Pieology pizza professionals also reaffirmed their support for all first responders by making a generous donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. The kissing up started at roll call Wednesday and the Torrance P.D. considers the matter over.
