House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was shouted at by pro-immigration activists during a press conference in San Francisco.
The group were protesting the agreement that would preserve DACA while increasing security at the border.
Protesters say the deal only focuses on those protected by DACA and not deeper immigration reform.
“Where were you when we asked [you] to defend our parents? And now you tell us, you have the audacity, to tell us you have been fighting deportation?”
Pelosi was at the conference along side fellow Democrats Barbara Lee and Jared Huffman as they tried to speak over the chants of "all 11 million"; referring to the number of undocumented immigrants in the US.
Pelosi tried to defend the work being done before eventually leaving the podium.
“What I interpret from what you are saying that you do not want us to proceed with the DREAM Act because it is not comprehensive immigration reform. We all are fighting for comprehensive immigration reform."
Last week, Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said they had created an agreement with the president to protect the almost 800,000 Dreamers threatened by Trump's announcement to end the original policy.
Trump has dodged the bullet on confirming or denying the deal.
