(Los Angeles, CA) -- Southland gasoline prices that have been rising steadily since Hurricane Harvey shut down nearly a dozen Texas oil refineries are suddenly spiking. The average price of regular gasoline shot up four-cents in the Los Angeles area overnight, topping three-dollars and twelve-cents per gallon.
The Automobile Club says that's about a dime more than a week ago and 15-cents higher than a month ago. Orange County regular gas rose four-cents this morning to a fraction under three-dollars and ten-cents per gallon.
