(Los Angeles, CA) -- Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph is free on bail after being arrested at a housing project in Watts. Randolph posted $20,000 bail around 8 a.m. today after his arrest on charges of suspicion of possession of marijuana with an attempt to sell last night.
LAPD officers were called to the Nickerson Gardens housing project last night when they were suddenly surrounded by a crowd of people. They called for backup, and the crowd ended up throwing objects at officers and damaged six law enforcement vehicles. A second person was also arrested on gun charges. Randolph recently signed a two-year deal with the Kings after spending eight years with the Memphis Grizzlies.
