Two Arrested For Child Sex Crimes Following Flight To San Jose

(San Jose, CA)  --  Two people are under arrest after a passenger on a plane spotted one of them texting about child sex crimes during a flight to San Jose.  Authorities say 56-year-old Michael Kellar was arrested as he disembarked the plane.  Fifty-year-old Gail Burnsworth was also arrested following an investigation by FBI agents in Seattle and San Francisco.

The other passenger noticed Kellar texting about sexually assaulting children.  Kellar was using an enlarged, easy-to-read font on his large cell phone and the other passenger alerted a flight attendant to its content.  Airport police were called to the gate and he was taken into custody, while Burnsworth was arrested in Pierce County, Washington.  Both are facing multiple felony charges.

Two children, aged five and seven, are the victims.  Investigators believe Burnworth was the children's babysitter and gave Kellar access to the victims, but they aren't saying how the suspects are related to each other or the children.  The multi-agency investigation is still underway.
