Newest Class of L.A. City Firefighters Graduates

The newest class of Los Angeles City Fire Department firefighters graduated and received their badges during a ceremony Friday in Panorama City.

Class 16-3 included 53 men and, "one extremely capable female," said Chief Ralph Terrazas.

"You are truly joining a second family," Chief Terrazas said.

The new firefighters begin a year of field training at fire stations all around the City beginning Sunday.
