Founder or Lenitiv Scientific LLC, Montel Williams will be launching a line of high-quality medical cannabis products for patients.
The line includes cannabis oils that patients can load into vaporizers as well as a cannabis infused drinks under the brand name LenitivLabs.
The idea is for patients will feel safe knowing there are no harmful additives and the products are labeled and packaged in consistent, standardized doses.
Williams, who was diagnosed in 1999 with Multiple Sclerosis uses cannabis products to manage the disease's symptoms.
“Medical cannabis has allowed me to live a productive, fruitful life despite having multiple sclerosis. Many thousands of others across this country have experienced the same thing, which is what drove me to launch Lenitiv Scientific.”
Beyond his work in the media, Williams has worked for the past seventeen years as an advocate for cannabis law reform.
He has worked to pass medical cannabis legislation in states such as Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, New Jersey, and Connecticut and continues to advocate for reform at the federal level and in states where medical cannabis laws are not currently in effect.
LenitivLabs will be made available for patients with a doctor’s recommendation in California with plans to expand to other states that allow for the sale of medical cannabis.
