Police officer body cam footage has been released showing a Baltimore officer planting pills during a drug bust.
The video shows the officer planting the drugs in a trash pile before going back to the street, turning his camera on and "finding" the bag.
The cop in question was using a model of body cam that continuously captures and buffers the footage.
When the record button is pressed the it's the previous 30 seconds of footage that's saved not what happens after.
It appeared he was unaware of that feature because what was saved was his plant.
The original discovery and the officer's testimony was supposed to be used in the case against a suspect, however once this new footage was released all the charges were subsequently dropped.
Parts of the investigation are still ongoing but the Baltimore Police Department has refused to comment further.
