Two Illinois Teens Rescue Baby Girl From Violent Crash

Two Illinois teens helped to rescue an infant after a major crash killed her pregnant mother.

Sixteen-year-old Hunter Hasenjaeger and his 17-year-old friend Collin Barry were on their way home just after midnight when Hunter says they saw the crash.

“I just saw the car and the whole front was totaled on the driver's side. We could hear the baby crying extremely loud and screaming.”

Inside the mangled Chrysler 300 was six-month pregnant 27-year-old Alexis Danley.

Collin describes the scene;

‘She was hanging out the front of the car. Her arm was hanging out and her other hand was reached back grabbing the baby seat.”

The two realized they had to pull the one-year-old girl in the back out when they saw the police weren't on the scene.

Twenty-three-year-old Jacob Kaminski hit Danley and a Toyota Camry with three people inside though they were uninjured.

Kaminski was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.
