Valedictorian Finishes Grad Speech On Jimmy Kimmel After Being Cut Off

Senior class President and valedictorian, Peter Butera was cut off in the middle of his high school graduation speech in Pennsylvania after the ceremony speech did not resonate well with faculty. Butera stood in front of faculty, family and friends onstage sharing his opinion on some of the schools lackluster policies. When he was asked to leave the stage, cheers are heard in the video as he walked off.

Jimmy Kimmel and his team heard the story and wanted to track down Butera to let him finish his speech. Butera admitted going off script since he knew the one he had planned wouldn't be approved by faculty. He joined Jimmy Kimmel - who praised the high school student for his speech - on the show and was allowed to finish the speech. Butera will be attending New Jersey's Villanova University in the fall.
