FBI Investigating Terror Attack At Flint, Michigan Airport

The FBI is investigating today's (June 21) stabbing of a police officer at Bishop Airport in Flint, MI as an act of terrorism. According to Special Agent David Gelios, the suspect identified as Canadian citizen Amor Ftouhi, 50, walked out of a bathroom at the airport and stabbed a police officer in the neck with a 12 inch knife while yelling "Allah Akbar.Ftouhi entered the United States on June 16th before making his way to Flint. 

The officer who was stabbed was identified as Jeff Neville and he is in "satisfactory condition."

The airport has re-opened and trying to return to normal operations. The announcement was made on the Bishop Airport's Facebook page. The airport is encouraging passengers to check with their airlines for updated flight information. 

The White House says the President Trump is being kept up-to-date by his homeland security advisers.
