A San Jose woman has died after she fell off a golf cart and landed on the two wine glasses she was holding in each hand. Authorities say 58-year-old Debra Bedard lost her balance on the cart after her driver and longtime boyfriend of 17 years, Richard Clarke, made a left turn on a private olive orchard the couple owned. Bedard landed on the glass shards and died at the scene as a result of her injuries. Clarke was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, however, authorities say his "actions did not cause the collision or fatal injuries." Bedard leaves behind two children and two grandchildren.
