The magic of Harry Potter will come to life at Universal Studios this summer

This summer, the magic of Harry Potter will be translated into a 'bone-chilling' light show at Universal Studio Hollywood.

“We really wanted the guests to have that bone-chilling moment and go, ‘Wow, this is something I’ve never experienced before,’” said Stacey Quinealty, the park’s senior manager of audio and visual production. “It’s really spectacular.”

The production team have been working on this show for over a year. Nighttime Lights will be exclusive to Universal Studios Hollywood and will run multiple times a night during its summer run.

John Williams created an original arrangement for the show which will be a medley of music from the movies.

The Sorting Hat will open the five minute show with: “There’s nothing I can’t see, so try me on and I will tell you where you ought to be.”

The show is set to start on June 23rd.
