Another story about an airplane...but this one is heartwarming

With all the recent negativity surrounding airlines lately we felt obligated to post something positive that happened in the supposedly friendly skies.

This Southwest pilot, Captain John Richie, made a special announcement before they took off and gave one lucky passenger a special surprise. He explained on the loud-speaker that he flew F-16s as a combat and test pilor before retiring from the Air Force 22 years ago to fly commercial. Throughout the years he had kept a tally of every flight and passenger.

"Today is a very special day," he says. "Today I'm flying my one-millionth passenger."

Finally a happy moment on an airplane!

Richie ecstatically handed a bottle of champagne, an autographed boarding pass and a envelope of cash to his one-millionth passenger.
