L.A. launches 'Everyone is Welcome' campaign

Today Los Angeles tourism officials launched an advertising campaign with the message "Everyone is welcome."

Los Angeles is no stranger to opposing Trump. Mayor Yoga Pants, along with leaders of the city and the county, think that defying federal law is a noble and just thing to do.

There's nothing wrong with diversity, but there is something wrong with people taking advantage of law and order.

Whether it's coming here illegally or overstaying your visa, laws are laws. They need to be followed, otherwise the state will descend into chaos.

And with people like Kevin De León and Jerry Brown running the show, chaos could happen soon.

The new L.A. tourism ad is a 93-second video showing people of different ethnic backgrounds dancing, hugging, and kissing.  They're having a great time!

It also showcases some of L.A.'s most iconic locations such as Venice Beach, Disney Concert Hall, and Olvera Street.

How about showing what L.A.'s really like? Where are the shots of Skid Row? Where are the people dancing over over pot holes? Or sitting in traffic?

The ad doesn't call out President Trump specifically, but it's a pretty clear shot at him. Ernest Wooden Jr., chief executive of Discover Los Angeles told the L.A. Times:

“Diversity and inclusivity have always been cornerstones of Los Angeles culture, but there has never been a more crucial time to reinforce these points."
