Illinois Congressman leads stunt and gets handcuffed by ICE

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, a democrat from Illinois, said he was briefly handcuffed yesterday after refusing to leave a meeting at an ICE office in Chicago.

He said he participated in a sit-in after attending a meeting at the ICE headquarters.

He tweeted:

"Federal police giving us our first warning that we risk arrest if we stay at Chicago ICE HQ."

What a loser.  He totally had some lackey of his tweet pictures of his "defiance" to make him seem like a hero.

Then he tweeted this nonsense:

"I was arrested, cuffed then cuffs were cut off. Waiting for further word on if/when we will be arrested."

Gutierrez said he wanted ICE to take back tweets about DACA, saying that they were perceived as threats:

Those tweets from ICE led to an "outcry" (oh no, not an outcry!) from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, of which Gutierrez is a member.  He said:

"President Trump and his people should keep their hands off of the Dreamers, period. Tweeting out that every DACA recipient is vulnerable to deportation is just another way this president is trying to create fear in immigrant communities, to make families and children think that their government could come after them at any time.  It is disgusting behavior on the part of the Department of Homeland Security and the White House, and it needs to stop."

This guys is a total loser, and he just cares about looking good on Twitter.  Lame.
