Investigators are trying to figure out whose bones were buried in a backyard in Buena Park

Investigators are trying to ID human bones found buried in Buena Park. Buena Park Police Sgt. Mike Lovchik told Jo Kwon that a man living at a home on Commonwealth Avenue found the skull and other remains Sunday night while digging a hole.

Lovchik says he estimates the home is at least 60 years old. Officers interviewed the homeowner and say the man isn't suspected of committing a crime. A cadaver dog searched the rest of the yard on Monday morning, however, no other bones were found.

Police say the cause of death is unknown.
