During his speech to Congress last night, President Trump called on them to address crimes committed by illegal immigrants.
He announced the creation of a new office within the Department of Homeland Security called VOICE, which stands for the Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement:
"I have ordered the Department of Homeland Security to create an office to serve American victims. We are providing a voice to those who have been ignored by our media, and silenced by special interests."
VOICE will work with victims of crimes created by illegals, and will issue reports once a quarter "studying the effects of the victimization by criminal aliens present in the United States."
Trump invited three guests whose family members were killed by illegal immigrant criminals. He recognized Susan Oliver and her daughter Jenna Oliver, Jessica Davis, and Jamiel Shaw, who's been on our show a few times:
"To Jamiel, Jenna, Susan and Jessica: I want you to know -- we will never stop fighting for justice. Your loved ones will never be forgotten, we will always honor their memory."
When Trump announced VOICE, you could hear the groans and grumbles coming out of the Democrats.
Bernie Sanders for example, wasn't too happy with what he heard:
"The murder of anyone is a tragedy, and our hearts go out to all families who lose a loved one to violence. But let's be clear about what Donald Trump is doing tonight in inviting family members who saw a loved one murdered by an undocumented immigrant. He is stirring up fear and hatred against immigrants and trying to divide our nation."
We think it's about time the President acknowledged victims of illegal immigrant crime! We never hear anyone talking about the victims or offering services to them.
Why do the Dems value illegals over U.S. citizens? It makes no sense to us.
