Pennsylvania Senator Daylin Leach went after President Trump calling him a:
"facist, loofa-faced, s***-gibbon."
The outburst came after a Politico article where Trump disagreed with a Texas senator who wanted to change the asset forfeiture law.
The change would make it so a person must be convicted of a crime before his or her assets could be seized.
Trump went off and said:
"Who is the state senator? Do you want to give his name? We'll destroy his career."
Leach didn't take to kindly to Trump's threat and took to social media.
In a Yahoo News interview, a Leach spokesman says the senator says what he thinks.
"He’s really angry in general about what Trump’s doing, and when he saw what Trump said about this other state senator, he took it a little personally because he’s been trying to pass civil asset forfeiture reform in Pennsylvania.”
