A new fad that has hit Tokyo that new mothers have embraced takes an idea from their babies.
Swaddling therapy!
It's called "Otonamaki", which translates to 'adult wrapping, and those that experience it say it helps to ease the aches and pains associated with childbirth.
The idea is simple. You get wrapped up in a cloth which is then tied, and then assistants help you rock back and forth over cushions.
The midwife that created the practice for adults says not only does it help ease post pregnancy pain, but it can also help reduce anxiety for new moms.
