These Fast-Food Company's Wins Lawsuit

McDonald's and Wendy's, oh boy, they are over the moon, absolutely ecstatic, after triumphing over a lawsuit that accused them, if you can believe it, of pulling the wool over their customers' eyes with some pretty hefty claims about the size of their burgers. I mean, seriously, folks. 

Now, here's the juicy bit. Brace yourselves, because in a weekend decision, U.S. District Judge Hector Gonzalez, in a move that can only be described as the ruling of a lifetime, concluded that there wasn't a single iota, not even a smidgen of evidence to back up the jaw-dropping assertion that these fast-food titans had served up anything less than what they'd promised in their enticing commercials. I mean, we're talking Big Macs and Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburgers here. 

What's even more incredible, you won't believe this, but it turns out that the plaintiff, Justin Chimienti, may not have even laid eyes on these tantalizing ads for the McDonald's Big Mac or Wendy's Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger that he ended up ordering. Talk about a twist in the tale!  

You see, Chimienti had this whole beef (pun intended) about the portrayal of undercooked beef patties in their advertisements. He argued that the meat, oh dear, it shrinks, and not by just a smidgeon, but by a whopping 25%, folks, when it hits the grill.
