Despite suffering hardships, Ukrainian forces have managed to kill between 7,000 and 15,000 Russian soldiers since it their country was invaded four weeks ago.
- That’s the word from NATO, which compares the four-week total to the 15,000 troops Russia lost over a 10-year period while fighting in Afghanistan.
- Although Russian officials have kept mum on their number of casualties, NATO’s estimate seems to fall in line with a figure offered last week by Ukraine President Volodymr Zelenskyy. He estimated 13,000 Russian troops had been killed in his country.
- Could Ukraine end up being victorious in this war?
