Convicted Sex Offender Charged with Child Porn Possession

SANTA ANA (CNS) - A convicted sex offender was charged today with possession of child pornography in Seal Beach.

Luis Albert Mondragon, 29, was charged with possessing child pornography in June, according to court records.

Mondragon pleaded guilty in September 2014 to three counts of oral copulation of a girl younger than 16, a count of sodomy of a victim younger than 16 and single counts each of possessing child pornography and using a minor in the production of pornography, all felonies, according to court records.

Mondragon was sentenced to four years in prison. He sexually assaulted the girl in Buena Park, according to court records.

Mondragon is scheduled to be arraigned in the current case Jan. 6 in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana.
