Porn Star Stormy Daniels Asks for Money to Pay for Trump Lawsuit

A new development in the Trump/Stormy Daniels scandal has occurred. Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles, California in an effort to invalidate the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she signed with President Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen.

Clifford claims that the NDA regarding her and President Trumps affair is invalid due to a lack of signatures from both parties involved. The agreement was only signed by attorney Michael Cohen and Clifford herself. Michael Cohen has stated that the agreement is void as he signed on Trump's behalf. The white house administration has denied the affair ever happened and that Cohen paid Clifford the $130,000 hush money out of his own pockets.

Due to her offer to pay back the $130,000, Clifford says she will need to raise money to assist in covering legal fees.

She has gone ahead and started an online crowdfunding site to raise money. As of today, Clifford has raised $42,263 from 1,522 donors.

According to the CrowdJustice site, "I need funds to pay for:  attorneys' fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen."

"Rather than agree that the NDA is invalid, thus allowing me to talk, Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen have instead attempted to hide the facts from the public using a bogus arbitration proceeding and have threatened me with millions of dollars in damages ($1M each time I speak out) if I tell the truth about what happened."
