Cinnamon is a female, Sheltie/Australian Shepherd Mix, who was abandoned by her owners who couldn't take care of her anymore. She had a skin condition, but is doing so much better now! She's sweet and loving and extremely intelligent.
Garfield is a handsome 7-year-old orange-and-white tabby/domestic short hair looking for a forever home. He's affectionate and will love to sit in your lap for hours.
All animals rescued by Pet Orphans are spayed/neutered, have all their shots and are microchipped.
Pet Orphans just opened a low-cost basic veterinary care clinic for the community. The clinic is open Thursday through Sunday, 8:30am to 5pm.
The shelter itself is open Tuesday through Friday, noon to 4pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, the hours are noon to 5pm.
Pet Orphans is located right off the 405, just north of Sherman Way, in Van Nuys. Come visit Cinnamon, Garfield and their friends and bring your own pets. Pet Orphans does companion matches. For more info, please call 1-800-400-PETS or visit the website: www.petorphans.org
