Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, the haters will say 'another stupid blog about Princess.'

Well, guess what, this is my blog, not yours, so I'll write about whatever I like ;)

Many of you know that besides my husband, my dog Princess, is the light of my life.

Now, hubs would argue over the order, but that's how I see it.  Listen, I don't have kids (yet) so, I have to put some of my nurturing skills to work.

For the last 7 years, Princess has been the only dog in the house.  Can you tell?

As of last weekend, that is no longer true.

My husband and I have taken in two new dogs.  They're my father-in-law's dogs, but he's not able to care for them right now so we've moved them in with us permanently.

This is Roxy (previously known as Roxy, then Rocky, now Roxy again)

Roxy is a sweet 9-year-old chihuahua mix, and when my in-laws first got her she was a healthy 9 pounds.  At one time she was over 14 pounds, but we've helped her lose some weight in the last few months.  She's now about 12 and on her way to 10!  We have to feed her separately because she eats so fast and then goes after everyone else's food!

This is Buffy.

We're not sure how old Buffy is, but the vet estimates that she's at least 14 years old.  She's some kind of poodle mix and very sweet, a little confused with only about 6 teeth left in her mouth, and she will only eat if you feed her off a spoon.

And this is how much Princess currently LOVES the situation.

Oooooo, she's maaaad! I'll keep you updated on the situation, but I can tell you that so far, she is NOT happy that Buffy has found ALL of the hidden bones and snacks around the house.  Not. Happy. At. All.
